All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Please be prepared to commit to house training your new companion.  We suggest doing some research on techniques that will help you with this.

We adopt to our local area, from Oxnard/Camarrillo to Woodland Hills on Saturdays (including Malibu).  We will adopt outside of these areas depending on volunteer availability and usually requires advance notice.

Misty is a Yorkie, about 4 years old, with a natural tail (not docked).   She was a matted mess at the shelter covered in over 20 ticks.  Poor little girl.   She's a sweet girl, but a bit shy at first.  It takes her about 4 to 5 days for her true personality to come out!   She bonds quickly, however, to her "person".   She would be good as an only dog or with another submissive dog as she is very submissive herself.   Misty loves to be pet!

Vixie is around 4 to mos Long Haired Chihuahua mix.  She loves people.  She is playful but prefers being in your lap.  She bonds very quickly with anyone who gives her the time.  Of course, she is young, so like any puppy will get into trouble?   Be prepared to puppy proof!   Vixie is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly.

Abby is young terrier mix with lots of energy. She zooms around the house looking for someone to play with her. Her injuries healed beautifully and we were able to save her foot. She has been cleared and is now ready for her forever home.  Abby will do best in a home with older children.  Come play with her at Petco.

 Lexi is 2-3 year old red Brussels Griffon Mix. We just got her but so far she has shown us that she loves to play with her foster buddies but prefers to be on your lap. As we get to know her we will update her bio but she really is a doll! Come meet her at Petco.

Although Roger (poodle mix) had to have a leg amputated due to being it by a car, he sure does get around just fine!   Roger is a gentleman who loves to cuddle!   He enjoys going on walks and playing with squeak toys.   Roger would be great as a only dog or with another small dog.  He's more interested in being on your lap though than playing with other dogs!    He would also do well in an apartment.

Very sweet gal!

Blossom - What a cutey! Compared to what she looked like when she first arrived, Blossom has done just that. She's blossomed into a very beautiful little dog. Possibly a Jack Russell/Dachshund mix with a mellow temperament. Loves to play with toys, go for walks or just cuddle in your lap.

Emily is a chihuahua mix looking for a lap to spend her days on (or at least next to you on the couch!).    She loves to be pampered and pet.   She would be great as an only dog and would do well in an apartment.  Emily's bacck legs are deformed.  They both point in one direction, so she has a bit of a funny walk, but that just adds to her personality!  It doesn't prevent her from being able to run, jump or play!

 Andy is an approx 7 year old spaniel mix who came to us with double hernias. His surgery went smoothly and he is feeling rather playful now that he feels better. He's a love and snuggles by your feet. He is great on leash and would be a perfect companion to anyone looking for a relaxed and easy dog. Come meet him at Petco.

Bernie's just a young guy who came to us with demodectic mange and was very emaciated and undwent six weeks of treatment.  He has now been released for adoption and is gaining weight.   Bernie loves to cuddle up with you.   He's squirming in yours arms when you hold him at first, but he's a total snuggle bug once he knows he's home.   He does like to play with other small dogs and will zoom around the house playing.   If no one will play with him, he's content rolling a ball around and playing by himself. 

He will do best in a home with children over 8 due to his size.   He currently is trained to eat in a crate.
