All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Please be prepared to commit to house training your new companion. We suggest doing some research on techniques that will help you with this.

We adopt to our local area, from Oxnard/Camarrillo to Woodland Hills on Saturdays (including Malibu). We will adopt outside of these areas depending on volunteer availability and usually requires advance notice.

Dodger is a 3 year old neutered male Lhasa Apso Mix. We found him injured after being hit by car. He has made a full recovery and isa very happy, playful, loving dog. He is well mannered and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play with his foster buddies and run around exploring in the yard. Dodger will do best in a home with another playful dog as he loves to play! Just look at the cute face....how can you resist!

Cher is such a sweet and loving little girl. She is a young terrier approx 1 yr old that was turned in by her owners. Why anyone would give this girl up is beyond me. She is very playful (started playing right away). She doesn't seem to have any issues with men, children, other animals. She wants to be on your lap giving you kisses or playing with her foster buddies. She loves her daily walks and her tail just never stops wagging. Come meet Cher at Petco. She's a great dog!

Tommy is a 6 mos old terrier full of puppy energy. He is fostered with big dogs, little dogs, children, reptiles, you name it, he has it. He is one fun loving guy with typical puppy moves. Very playful and looking for that perfect home. Come meet him at Petco.

These two cuties are littermates, about 10 months old. They are sweethearts who have lots and lots of puppy energy! You won't need to have a t.v. on as these two will entertain you for hours with their playful puppy antics! Please be prepared to HOUSETRAIN and PUPPY proof your home. Puppies are a lot of work. (Spayed/neutered this week and ready to go!)

Yogi is such a happy bouncy dog. He's approx 16 mos old and some type of poodle mix. This is a dog who was loved. He has no issues that I can find. He loves men, chldren and all sizes of dogs. He is playful and will instigate with anyone who is next to him. We are having so much fun watching him. We've been to the dog park and he had a blast running and hopping like a bunny so happy to be free. He really is a great dog with good energy level. UPDATE - this dog has done such a turn - he is now playing with toys and running and bouncing and tail is up - even Karen was blown at the park at the change. He's been pulling toys out of the box and running dow n the hallway with them all morning. What a character. We are going to attempt a walk today.Bio from fosterStewie is an adorable 11 mos old Brussels Griffon Mix who came to us extremely scared and hid for the first week from everyone. After three weeks with his foster family, he is now playing with toys, running around with his tail up happy as can be. He is learning to trust and has shown such improvement in that area. He's been introduced to the dog park and each time he is doing better and better but still rather cautious around people. If you have it in your heart to allow him the time to know you and trust you then Stewy is so worth the wait. We love this guy! Come meet him at Petco and be prepared to fall in love with this sweet boy.
RICKY
What a fun little guy! Ricky is under a year old. We aren't quite sure what Ricky is a mix of, but what we do know is he's a fun little guy that loves to play with other dogs! He's shy and submissive at first, but just loves to play, play, play! Ricky is looking for a family to call his own!

Jackson is a spunky little redhead that loves to play. Will grab toys and run all over the yard with them. Tries to get the other dogs involved and is always successful. Jackson likes to play ball, but needs to be trained to bring it back. At the end of the day, he likes nothing more than to curl up in a bed or cuddle on your lap.

Oliver is an 8lb, one year old male ChiWeenie. He was dumped at the shelter in February 2010 with a severe case of Demodex (non-contagious mange). Just a few weeks after beginning treatment his skin cleared up and all of his hair grew back. . He has been cleared for adoption by the vet. Oliver is a very happy, playful puppy. He is very sweet and loves to cuddle. Oliver gets along well with other dogs and likes meeting new people. He would do best in a home with another small dog that enjoys lots of playtime....please no small children/toddlers or unfenced pools.

Bernie's just a young guy who came to us with demodectic mange and was very emaciated and undwent six weeks of treatment. He has now been released for adoption and is gaining weight. Bernie loves to cuddle up with you. He's squirming in yours arms when you hold him at first, but he's a total snuggle bug once he knows he's home. He does like to play with other small dogs and will zoom around the house playing. If no one will play with him, he's content rolling a ball around and playing by himself.He will do best in a home with children over 8 due to his size. He currently is trained to eat in a crate.
